The first Sussex forest (Doughty Street Chambers Forest One) was planted in February 2026 on the Falmer campus, within the South Downs National Park. Forest Two will extend that planting and develop our research partnership with the School of Life Sciences and Sussex University Law School.
We are in conversation with the University of Sussex about long-term ecological monitoring of this forest, one of the most scientifically promising sites in our network.
